Flying South for the Day:

In case you were wondering what it looks like the instant Barb figures out the ailerons actually work.

We went to the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson last week. It's something we had been meaning to do the entire time we lived here, but never got around to doing until our orders got delayed. Funny how that works, huh?
We wanted to go to the boneyard, but didn't realize that wasn't open on weekends, oops! I doubt this will be the last time we live in Phoenix, though.

I have a list of favorite air craft (who doesn't...right?)  It's a list of five. The SR-71 is on that list.
C and I have an ongoing thing called "touching the butt" inspired by finding nemo. The planes are the butts. I like to touch them. I have so many butt touching pictures y'all. But that's a post for another day.
The F-4 phantom (also affectionately called the Rhino, or double ugly) is another one of my top five favorite air craft.
B-52, BUFF, and... You guessed it... In the top five. It's so high on the list that I even have it as a tattoo.
And the KC-97, another top five.
Three of the four in this post were flown by my grandfather, who I was named after.

I'll let you guess which four.
The fifth plane on my list is obviously the Viper (in no certain order), and not just because my husband flies it, either.

We had a lot of fun at the museum, and really enjoyed wandering around. We even got to see some A-10s fly over, and who doesn't enjoy that?

After the museum we went to grab some hamburgers at a local burger place, but the wait was too long for one girl who gets very hangry very quickly.

A few doors down was a small deli and it smelled incredible, so we went over to check out the menu. They had some delicious looking hot dogs, so we decided to eat there.
Here is the address if you ever find yourself in the area:

4th Avenue Delicatessen
425 N 4th Ave
Pie Allen
Tucson, AZ 85705

You can tell them I sent ya, but they won't have a clue who I am.
Some of the best hot dogs I've ever eaten, and the chili is phenomenal.
